I don’t know how you make jeans with no stretch into something I describe as ‘pants I could wear on an airplane,’ but here they are!

These jeans are so beautiful - so well made, such incredible fabric. The raw denim feels substantial without feeling heavy, and they really have managed to stop the dye from transferring (my light couch is so far safe). I wish I could give a further half star, since the only thing I'd change is adding odd-number sizing: I followed the size chart and advice on the listing and bought the size that corresponded to my waist measurement (30), and after a some wear I'm finding them slouchier than my ideal; I probably could have sized down to a 28 but I think they would have been pretty tight, and really wish I could have bought them in a 29 (the same size as my favourite Bonnies), because I expect that would have been perfect. I am nonetheless really excited to see how these soften and change over time (and am crossing fingers that the raw denim does well so I can maybe get it in a Bonnie sometime in the future!). This is my second pair of kits. This time I sized down (actual waist is 29.5”, I bought 28”) for a more fitted look. Not as comfy as my 30” trousers but they are breaking in nicely and I like the slimmer fit.

Wow! I have a couple of the other styles and love the quality of the denim. I've not been so lucky with sizing in the past and if you live far away like me (Scotland) and can't return I would recommend sizing down and breaking them in. The denim truly stands the test of time. The kit trouser is sooo comfortable also the perfect length for me as the others I needed to have altered. I am a 27 and got the 26 waist - perfection!

I like many things about the fit and comfort of these jeans. However, on my 5’4” frame, the rise on the 32 and 34 is simply way too high. They come up well above my bellybutton. I wish there was a petite version. I’ve tried a few Decade styles and generally have found it difficult to get a petite fit.
